Born and raised in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, Sarah has always been active in the arts, beginning at age 7, when she and her sister produced a very abbreviated version of Les Miserables. While that was the beginning and end of Sarah’s singing career, she has continued acting and producing ever since. Sarah is a graduate of Williams College, where she majored in Theatre. Sarah then went on to graduate school and received an Acting degree at Drama Studio London.
Since then, Sarah has performed on stage internationally and, most recently, starred opposite James Van Der Beek and Margaret Colin in the feature film, “Backwards.” She has also been seen in episodics (Law and Order: SVU), various films and commercials (perhaps most notably as a spokeswoman for The New York Times).
Sarah has produced five Off-Broadway plays (she was supported by the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust), including such critically acclaimed works as:
